Frozen Meat Evaluating & Sorting
Volunteers work with frozen meat from our Food Recovery Program. Our volunteers inspect, sort, re-label and pack donated meat. There is some lifting required and all positions require volunteers to stand on concrete floors.

• Weekday shifts available (for groups)

• Wednesday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• The first & third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to noon

The Lake County Branch of NIFB can accommodate individual volunteers and groups of up to 30 people. Many companies and organizations find volunteering at NIFB an excellent team-building experience. For planning purposes, volunteers must sign up in advance by contacting NIFB at 847.336.3663.
