Northern Illinois Food Bank hosted its 8th Annual Donor Appreciation Dinner - The Faces of Hunger Will Surprise You! - at Bobak's Signature Events at Seven Bridges in Woodridge. Jewel-Osco was the benefactor sponsor of the 2007 event.

Dan Hampton, retired Chicago Bears defensive tackle and 2002 inductee into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, made a special celebrity-guest appearance before dinner.

Proceeds from the evening benefit NIFB and its efforts to fight hunger in 13 northern Illinois counties. The black-tie-optional event honored NIFB’s top food and financial donors in the fight against hunger. There was also a silent auction.
