For the fourth consecutive year, NIFB received a "««««" ranking from Charity Navigator, an independent evaluator of charities. Only 4% of all charities received this "Exceptional" 4-star rating for four straight years from Charity Navigator.  The Food Bank spent 96 cents out of each dollar on food assistance programs and services. This efficiency enables NIFB to make each dollar of support provide more food for low-income people.  Click here to visit Charity Navigator to learn more.

The award was announced in March 2007 and is based on Fiscal 2006 information. NIFB anticipates maintaining its four-star rating based on the percent of expenses incurred for fundraising and administration versus program investment in Fiscal 2007.
